Live like a local for a day
We begin travel from city to visit a local fresh market to witness the authenticity passages and streets bustled with people; feel the sudden rush and hear the vocals of local activities. Phsar Leu Thom Thmey is located on the main road connecting Siem Reap city to Phnom Penh city.
After
an hour, we take a ride about 30 mins to the East of Angkor to visit a family
that makes fresh khmer rice noodles in Preah Dak
Village. Khmers call this dish “the world’s
first noodles”. We trace back to the making of rice noodles with conventional
tools, methods and process and we will have a refreshment and try the freshly
made nom banh chok.
• Lunch will be served at The Bong Thom Homestay
