Sam Khmer Noodles - Nom Banh Chok.

Sam Khmer Noodles - a Nom Banh Chok noodle house selling rice noodles started on 03 April 2016 in Siem Reap, near Sok San Road, corner to Concrete Drain Road.  From a very humble beginning, Sam and Rina determined to start this as they have been thinking to start a business of their own with something more interesting and worth trying.

Nom banh chok is a traditional Khmer food staple, which is consists of rice noodles topped with a green fish gravy and heaps of beans, banana flowers & cucumbers, that is popularly known as 'Nom Banh Chok Samlor Khmer'.

"We are happy to serve nom banh chok to tourist as well as the local community, trying our best to give information about this very common dish but with such a great history in Cambodia's culture and  it's heritage.

The challenges is that I don't speak well in Khmer, sometimes  the interesting part is when local walk in to our noodle house and they realise I'm actually a foreigner, they are curious about our nom banh chok, but i quickly learnt the way to serve, and we break the ice with laughter." - Sam.

Sam Khmer Noodles open around 6.30am in the morning and end the service around 7.30pm everyday.

We love to see people coming and dine at our noodle house, we are happy just doing it.
Take away is available and regular customers also call in to pre-order, then we deliver it.
